San Fernando Facade Improvement Program |

The Glendale Redevelopment Agency's Facade Improvement Program is a tool to improve the character of the industrial districts in the San Fernando Road Corridor Redevelopment Project Area. The program provides assistance in the form of a matching grant as an incentive for property owners and tenants to renew their building facades.
Eligible improvements may consist of but are not limited to:
- Removal and replacement of outdated or non-forming signs.
- Modification of doors and windows.
- Repair, replacement, removal or installation of awnings, marquee or other sun control devices.
- Exterior painting and decorative treatment.
- Architectural lighting.
- Minor landscaping directly related to the exterior of the building.
- Other facade improvements not listed which will contribute to the character of the district.
