Seniors |
The Glendale Public Library welcomes community Seniors!
Quick Links
The Library received a grant of computers from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 1999. We began training Glendale residents in the use of computers and the Internet that year, and developed an extended class format for Seniors in 2000. To date, over 600 Glendale Seniors have participated in the Computer Club.
Senior workshops are comfortably paced for the novice computer user. Students learn how to use the mouse and keyboard, navigate through Microsoft Windows, search the Internet, and set up and use Email.
Workshop Information - Computer Club for Beginners
Register beginning in August 2008 for the Computer Club for Beginners starting in September! Sign up at the Reference Desk at the Central Library, or ask your Branch Librarian. Monthly sessions available throughout the year.
