Duties:

Responsible for the overall program of parks, playgrounds and recreational activities, the Commission performs its duties as an advisory body to the City Council and Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department, recommending courses of action that insure continuation of Glendale's high caliber parks and recreational programs.
Membership:
Five members
Three year term
Two term limit
Qualifications:
Each member shall be a qualified elector of the city of Glendale.
Additional Information:
The Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department provides administrative services for the Commission. The Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services can provide further information regarding Commission issues.
