Duties:

Responsible for the overall program of parks, playgrounds and recreational activities, the Commission performs its duties as an advisory body to the City Council and Community Services & Parks Department, recommending courses of action that insure continuation of Glendale's high caliber parks and recreational programs.
Membership:
Five members
Three year term
Two term limit
Qualifications:
Each member of the parks, recreation and community services commission shall be a qualified elector of the city at the time of appointment and during incumbency.
Additional Information:
The Community Services & Parks Department provides administrative services for the Commission. The Director of Community Services & Parks can provide further information regarding Commission issues.
