    An integral piece of women's full participation in our city is participation within the political process; as a result, women's political participation and leadership is a core focus for the work of the Commission on the Status of Women.     The Los Angeles County Bar Association provides aid in filing for temporary restraining ordersfor victims of domestic violence. Glendale residents who are dealing with domestic violence can seek assistance at the Pasadena Courthouse. LACBA also provides an opportunity for attorneys interested in volunteering.
